How to use Lochlor Miraclear Pool Algaecide Metal-Free

Swimming Pools

• Backwash filter
• Super chlorinate pool
• Brush pool surface and vacuum pool before adding product
• Ensure pool water pH is between 7.0 and 7.8 (for severe algae, a pH between 7.0 & 7.2 is recommended).
• Calculate volume of product required and mix in a bucket with water.
• Broadcast around edges of pool. Do not add to pool skimmer.
• Filter water for 12 hours after application of the product to ensure mixing.
• Brush pool walls thoroughly and then vacuum.

Dosage

• Initial Dosage: Use 1L product per 60,000 Litres.
• Maintenance Dosage: Use 80ml product per 10,000 litres every seven days
• Heavy Algae Growth/Winter Dose: Use 300ml per 10,000 Litres.
• Remember - always test for phosphates after the addition of a Lo-Chlor Algaecide

Important information

Lo-Chlor Miraclear Algaecide does not contain any trace metals. It is therefore ideal for Ionised pools, AquaFresh and Nature 2 pools and spas.
It is non-foaming and non-staining so is an ideal algaecide for fountains and ornamental ponds.
Unlike other non-copper algaecides it does not contain Alkyl Dimethyl Benzyl Ammonium Chloride.
It is therefore ideal for salt pools and pools with high combined chlorine levels.
